Apartment blocks in Traunstein (Upper Bavaria) with 16 residential units and approx.1250m2 of usable floor space.
Redeveloped in 2009 to include two pellet-powered boilers each with 65kW output; additional heating provided by 30m2 of flat collectors (summer mode) and an Oskar 10/5.0 4000 litre stratified storage tank. Energy consumption per annum amounts to approx. 130,000 kW/a. The solar coverage is approx. 12%.
Both apartment blocks (each have 8 residential units) have had their external walls thermally insulated and a controlled ventilation system installed (local); as a result heating costs are expected to be halved. The Internet connection and therefore connection to the online diagram has been set up using the universal controller rUVR and a modem.
